Mark Ibanez
Mark joins First Press Productions as an executive producer, feature film host/narrator and media training consultant. You may recognize Mark from his outstanding 29 year career with KTVU Channel 2 in Oakland, CA. His tenure with KTVU makes him the longest running sports reporter and anchor in the Bay Area. He has received three Emmy Awards during his career as KTVU Channel 2 Sports Director: one for Best Regular Weekly Sports Show and another for "49er Playbook." He's also been nominated for an Emmy eight times.
Mark is also an author and his book, "Mark's Remarks," has been a best-seller with proceeds benefiting the American Cancer Society, who named him "Ambassador of the Year", in recognition of his efforts.
Mark has called the Bay Area home for most of his life. After attending high school in Petaluma and junior college in Santa Rosa, Mark received his B.A. degree in Journalism, Radio and Television Broadcasting from the University of Idaho. His interests, in addition to all sports, include music, theater, photography, and playing the drums. He lives in the Bay Area with his wife and four children.
